The long answer? I'll come to you or meet you wherever you go. Travel has been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I’ve had the honor to travel all over the country and the world capturing the most beautiful love stories. Yes yes yes! I absolutely love my home state and I visit Austin regularly. Texas will forever hold a special place in my heart and I take every opportunity I have to breathe in the fresh Hill Country air,  hit up my favorite food spots (Chuys!!!) and photograph the most extrodinary love stories. Because I have a home base in Austin and always have a place to stay, my Texas pricing is a little lower than the rest of my domestic pricing. My pricing guides reflect the travel expenses based on the region of the country or international destination that your wedding will be in. To make it easier for you, there are no crazy hidden fees for you to worry about - what you see in your pricing guide is what you pay.

For the state of Florida, I charge a minimal travel fee if your wedding is 60 miles or further from Jacksonville for gas and a one night stay. Travel expenses outside the state of Florida include: a roundtrip flight, lodging for a minimum two night stay, rental car, gas, and food. 

For the state of Texas: As previously mentioned in the above question, travel expenses for the state of Texas differ from the rest of the US because my lodging is taken care of. Travel expenses for the state of Texas include: a round trip flight, car rental, gas, and food. Feel free to reach out for a custom quote if your travel plans include something outside the scope of what’s covered here!

Yes! A payment plan is automatically set up in the booking process. A $1000 non-refundable retainer is required to secure your date, and the rest of your payments will be split up into installments that work best with your payment schedule. Let me know if there is a preferred time frame for your payment schedule during our discovery call!

You will receive your gallery via email. Your gallery is hosted by Pic-Time, and it can be easily shared with all of your loved ones. You'll be able to download low resolution photos (perfect for sharing on social media), high resolution images (perfect for printing) and order prints all in one place!

Your photos are incredibly precious and important to me and I pride myself on always being as prompt as possible when it comes to you receiving your gallery in time. My general turnaround time for engagement galleries is 3-4 weeks and wedding galleries are typically finished and delivered within 6-10 weeks, but I will always try to get them to you sooner without sacrificing the quality of your photos. Just know that each and every photo is being edited with the utmost care and attention to detail. The wait will be worth it, my friend! Sneak peaks will always be provided 24 to 48 hours after your wedding so you can share the magic of your day and have something to hold you over while you wait.

That's totally okay - as your photographer, what's most important to me is making sure you are comfortable and confident with me and my camera. I'll provide you with all the tools and guidance you need to ensure you show up to your session + wedding day confident and ready to be in front of the camera. These tools include a style guide and a page all about what to expect from me and your session.

 On the day of your session, I'll be gently guiding + directing you, and believe me... there will be so much praise from me - I've been called the ultimate hype lady for a reason! While I completely understand your concerns, there's nothing to worry about - you'll be a pro by the end of it, I promise you. You've got this and I've got you!

You are more than welcome to send me any and all the inspiration photos you may have, but shot lists don’t leave any room for accidental shots (which is where those really amazing moments happen). If there is a MUST HAVE photo, a photo that you just can’t live without, a photo you’ve been dreaming of since the moment you started planning your wedding, I am more than happy to help you recreate it - but let’s leave the shot list at home and let the magic happen organically. 

My approach, first and foremost, is making sure you feel confident both in front of the camera and with the flow of the day. About a month before your wedding, we’ll hop on a call to go over your timeline and finalize it. This call is an integral part of the process, as it ensures we’re all on the same page with each other. During this call, we’ll also go over any specifics that are important to you and finalize any other important things (family photos, for example). 

On the day of your wedding, expect for me to arrive at least 30 minutes early to scope out the venue, get my equipment set up, and check in with both of you before I jump into the flow of the day. Since my style of photography is editorial meets documentary, you can expect me to be following you around (literally like a puppy!), capturing the in between moments, observing all the quiet moments, capturing details big and small, and jumping in to give gentle direction when needed. 

Some couples prefer more editorial than documentary, and vice versa, so let me know on our call if you’re leaning more toward one style or the other. Either way, I always incorporate both styles to make sure you’ve got an equal amount of the in between moments and the editorial shots to choose from.
